For Leagues & tournaments
Run a tournament, or a season's standings, from the club account: pools, brackets, tiebreakers, and a public page and widgets that update the moment a sheet is final.
A day in the season
Three moments, start to finish.
Thanksgiving Classic · U15
Round robin into playoffs
Final
Sun 2:30 PM · Ridge Arena, Rink 1
Tiebreakers: points, head-to-head, goal difference, goals for, wins.
Before the draw · The format
Pools, format, schedule — generated.
Round robin, single or double elimination, or round robin into playoffs. Set the pools and the format; the schedule is generated. Opponents are stored once, with a logo and an abbreviation, and reused all season.
Every game · The sheet
Signed on the phone. Final means final.
Referee, both coaches and the scorekeeper sign the sheet on the phone. You can require all four before a sheet counts. Editing after signing voids the signatures with a reason, and the trail stays.
Every finish · The standings
Standings and brackets update themselves.
W-L-T, GP, GF, GA, DIFF and PTS, with OTL when overtime losses exist. Tiebreakers run in order: points, head-to-head, goal difference, goals for, wins. The public page and the widgets update when the sheet is final.
What you get.
Pools, brackets, tiebreakers and a public page that updates when the sheet is final.
Four formats
Round robin, single elimination, double elimination, or round robin into playoffs. Pools for any of them.
Generated schedules
Set the pools and the format and the schedule is drawn for you. Venues carry an address and a Directions link.
Brackets
A bracket that fills itself as sheets go final, on the public tournament page and as a widget on your site.
Tiebreakers in order
Points, head-to-head, goal difference, goals for, wins. Applied the same way every time, with no spreadsheet.
Signed game sheets
Referee, both coaches and the scorekeeper sign on the phone. Require signatures before a sheet is final.
Affiliate players with caps
Link a player to a second team as an AP. Games count against a cap you set, with a warning or a hard stop.
Questions from leagues & tournaments.
Is HockeyOS a league platform?
It's a club platform. A club runs its tournaments and standings from its own account; the public tournament page and the widgets are open to anyone, so visiting teams and families see the same numbers you do.
How are ties broken?
In order: points, head-to-head, goal difference, goals for, then wins. The same rules every time, applied the moment a sheet is final.
Can we take tournament entry fees through it?
Not yet. Registration payments exist for the club's own programs, but tournament entry fees aren't built.
Where do the standings show up?
On the public tournament page, and as schedule, standings and bracket widgets you paste into your own site. Season standings have a full widget and a five-row sidebar version.
