Copy the line from your dashboard
In HockeyOS, open Website & embeds → Embed Studio. Pick the team and the widget, set how it should look, and press Copy. That one line is the whole install.
Open the page in the Designer
Go to the team page and open the Add panel. Decide which container or column the widget should live in.
Drag in an Embed element
Find Embed in the Add panel and drag it into place. A code editor opens as soon as it lands.
Paste the line
Paste, then Save & Close. On the canvas the element shows a placeholder; that is how Webflow treats every embed.
Give it room
Set the Embed element's width to 100% of its parent and leave the height alone. The widget sets its own height.
Publish
Publish the site and open the page. The widget is there, in your colours, and updates on its own from here on.
Where it looks best
Strip in the hero's footer, schedule in the content grid.
Drop the results strip in a full-width container at the bottom of the hero so it reads as part of the header. The schedule and roster go in the main content column. In a two-column grid, the narrow widgets — record, next game, top scorers — fill the side column.
Worth knowing on Webflow
- The Designer canvas shows a placeholder for every Embed element, not the widget. Use Preview or publish to see it.
- If the Embed element's parent has a fixed height or Overflow set to hidden, the widget cannot grow. Let the parent size to its content.
Webflow questions.
Does it need anything in project settings?
No. The widget lives in an ordinary Embed element on the page. It does not use site-wide custom code or project settings.
Can I use it inside a CMS Collection page?
Yes. Put the Embed element on the template and paste the line for the team that page is about. One widget shows one team.
Why is the canvas empty where I put it?
Webflow does not render embeds on the canvas. Preview the page or publish it.
